Already some OECD countries have realised the importance of post-secondary vocational programmes — especially in science, technology, engineering and mathematical industrial-related enterprises and health-care occupations. Commenting on the overall development of post-secondary vocational education, Uvin said great strides had also been made in Austria, Denmark, Israel, South Korea, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Britain and the United States.
